Red Bull Racing take on Tri-Hard Challenge

Back to overview

This August, Dominik, Marcus and Anthony of Infiniti Red Bull Racing marketing are courageously embarking on their team Tri-Hard challenge to raise money for Wings for Life.

Anthony Ward, Head of Brand & Events will begin the event with a 22 mile swim venturing across the English Channel, followed by Marcus Prosser, Red Bull Relations Manager tackling a 152 mile cycle ride from Dover to Oxford and eventually passing the baton to Dominik Mitsch, Head of Marketing and trustee of Wings for Life UK who will finish the event running 36 miles from Oxford to the team’s headquarters in Milton Keynes. In this combined effort of swimming, pedalling and running, the boys will cover an impressive total of 210 miles from start to finish!

Anita Gerhardter, Wings for Life CEO, has shown her respect and support articulating, "If professional athletes would head out to tackle such a challenge it would evoke deep respect in me. To see that Anthony, Marcus and Dominik – all three of them full-time employees with more than a busy schedule - are willing and ready to face this major challenge is beyond respect, they have my utmost admiration. At Wings for Life we are more than happy to have such energetic, courageous and strong-minded people who support us in such a great way.”

The courage, ambition and strength Dominik, Marcus and Anthony have generated in taking on such a challenge reflects the relentless and unabated attitude of Wings for Life in our voyage to find a cure for spinal cord injury. The question is not if but when.

In light of this, any donations are wholly appreciated to support the boys through this hugely testing challenge whilst raising money for an amazing cause, with every penny donated going straight to funding research.

Wings for Life are also calling on volunteers to get involved with the event in September from participating in any of the stages or simply offering to cheer the boys on from the sidelines. With our support and their stoic intensive training we will get the boys to Milton Keynes!
