Dinner and Silent Auction
The story behind
Dear friends & followers,
Millions of people are currently dependent on a wheelchair after having sustained a spinal cord injury. Yet the wheelchair is just the visible sign of a much greater problem. Spinal cord injured people have to learn daily activities such as eating, bathing and dressing over again and sometimes cannot handle them without help.
However, the diagnosis of “paraplegia” is likely to become a thing of the past because scientists agree unanimously: injured nerve cells in the spinal cord are capable of regeneration.
Along with this campaign, I am hosting a dinner and silent auction in Brunswick, MO on October the 16th to help raise more funds for the cause. Everything made is going to Wings for Life. This campaign is to give people a chance to donate who won't be able to make it to the event.
With this campaign and your support I want to raise funds to improve the quality of life of people with spinal cord injuries and bring about their recovery. 100% of your donation goes directly to spinal cord research, since the foundation’s administrative costs are kindly covered by Red Bull.
Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
