‘‘We want to move people‘‘

Back to overview

Peter Oppermann raffled off one of his unique Electro-Bikes for us. Now the CMO of the BAYK AG Regensburg, Germany plans the next steps.

Peter, can you tell us a bit more about your brand BAYK?

We want to move people. Movement means progress. And for us progress is E-mobility. BAYK develops and assembles high-quality electric bikes with an extraordinary style. We provide a combination of development, design, construction, quality and production. Every component part is produced by well-known manufacturers.

Why is it so important for you to support Wings for Life?

We have an optimistic, positive outlook on life and have a product that makes people mobile. Wings for Life share the same hopeful attitude and want to stir people into action to help find a cure for spinal cord injuries. We want to do our best to support such a great initiative.

You’ve already raised 2,560 Euro for us, which we are so grateful for. How did you do it?

Tobias Nerb, a friend of mine hosts a golf tournament every year at Gut Minoritenhof in Germany. He and Stefan Lieb, CEO of Time4Golf were immediately enthusiastic when we built a Palletti Bayk and raffled it at the event. We gave the funds raised to Wings for Life. I want to thank Tobias and Stefan again for their great support.

This raffle was just the beginning. You are planning other projects for spinal cord research. Can you tell us more?
We already sell the Dunkerbayk – a limited edition bike where 500 Euro of every bike sold goes towards Wings for Life. I am also very excited to say that some well-known artists have been confirmed to design bespoke Wings for Life Bayks to support us. Stay tuned J

How and where can people get the Dunkerbayk?

People can either call Wings for Life and you can forward the order to us. Or they can contact us directly via info@bayk.ag.

Thanks Peter and all the people involved for your engagement. Every euro will go directly into spinal cord research.
