New Wings for Life representative
Back to overview
DTM Mercedes-Benz driver and Williams F1 development-driver Susie Wolff has become a representative of the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation. In her role, she will take an active part in supporting our mission to find a cure for spinal cord injury.
„My grandfather was a professional diver and has been paralysed for over 40 years due to a diving accident“, explained Susie Wolff her motivation behind the voluntary commitment to the foundation. „After I met Heinz Kinigadner and his son Hannes, it became a personal matter of heart to support the foundation. My grandfather is an amazing man and both Heinz and Hannes are inspirational. It would be fantastic if I could contribute a little bit to give affected people the possibility to live their life without a wheelchair. “
„Due to her experience, Susie has a personal motivation and makes an important contribution to spread our vision worldwide“, said motorsport legend and Wings for Life founder Heinz Kinigadner.
