"Burnout" for a good cause
Rok set himself many goals in his life. To reach 100.000 followers on his facebook profile was one of them.
5 years ago he did not even dare to think that his fan base will ever reach this important FB benchmark. But the number grew fast in the past 3 years and all of a sudden he reached the 100k mark. "For me this is not only a number, it is a reflection of my hard work when I'm off the bike, and the fans show appreciation for that", says a visibly impressed Rok.
For that occasion Rok knew, he needs to do something special for his fans. So he came up with the idea to show the world that he is also a bit of an artist with his KTM Duke and drew a painting. But as always, he did not settle with regularity, so his paint was in fact the rubber from his rear "super sticky" Mitas tire. After a short burnout session his artwork has been completed.
But the waste of fresh tire would not make any sense to him, if he could not do something special with the artwork. Therefore, he decided to put the "RokON! 100k fans" rubber picture up for auction on eBay. The proceeds will be donated to Wings for Life.
