Mirroring the Formula One season which runs from February to November, the 10 month challenge requires five core representatives from each team to lead and oversee the campaign as you feel the heat taking on different fundraising activities throughout the season in aid of Wings for Life.

Infiniti Red Bull Racing Team Principal, Christian Horner has shown his support for the Challenge having attended the launch event over the past two years: “Wings for Life is a fantastic charity and it’s doing great work to find a cure for spinal cord injury. That alone should motivate people. Creating an environment where your team can flourish is also key – at Infiniti Red Bull Racing we trust and invest in our people and this is evident across the whole team”.

The team raising the highest amount come season end in November will be crowned the Formula One Challenge Champions and win the ultimate prize – a behind-the-scenes tour of the Red Bull Racing factory and a driving session in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing simulator. But that’s not all. Teams who are leading the competition at key points during the season will receive money can’t buy rewards including the opportunity to host an Infiniti Red Bull Racing show car in the work place or to attend the British Grand Prix.

Wings for Life will guide you and your team every step of the way with a dedicated Account Manager offering support, advice and guidance to excel in the Challenge. Competitors in 2014 include outdoor retailor Cotswold Outdoor who are set to raise over £25,000 for Wings for Life:

The Wings for Life relay [one of Cotswold Outdoor’s fundraising initiatives] has been one of our most exciting challenges, and the staff members taking part have excelled themselves. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support we have received, and have raised a fantastic amount of money for Wings for Life”. Hans Falkenburg, CEO, Cotswold Outdoor

The Wings for Life Formula One Challenge will see 100% of the teams fundraising going directly towards world-class spinal cord injury research projects as the lead corporate partner of Wings for Life, Red Bull Company Ltd, covers the charity’s overhead costs.
