Wings for Life and the Madrid Supercross united for a good cause

On Saturday, 21^st November, the Sports Pavilion of the Madrid Community held the Supercross XIX edition that had, for the first time, a solidarity purpose. During the event, 7,500€ were collected for Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation.

Repsol YPF donated 400 helmets decorated with the racing image of the Spanish company, that were given to the public in exchange for a donation to the foundation. In addition to that, the RACE (Spanish Drivers Association) also contributed with 3,500€ for research.

Marvin Musquin, recently crowned MX2 World Champion, dominated the Supercross ahead of Josh Hill, top rider at the AMA Supercross, and the Spaniard Jonathan Barragan, Motocross National Champion. Other riders with national and international prestige, like Manu Rivas, Carlos Campano and Daniel Blair, were among the competitors that gathered in Madrid.
