Watch live now: 155,288 racing worldwide
Back to overview
155,288 people worldwide registered for the fourth edition of the event, and from costumed recreational participants to championship pros, they’re all part of a global movement, running at the same time to raise awareness and urgently needed funds for spinal cord research.
While many are running shoulder-to-shoulder on the streets of popular international destinations, there are also large numbers of registered App Runners taking part worldwide, creating their own routes and seeing their names on the Global Result List along with everyone else.
At each location, the moving finish line – a Catcher Car – is now pursuing the runners. As the hours tick by and the field narrows, the excitement will build until the very last people left in the race see the Catcher Car approaching and make a final, adrenaline-fueled push. When the finish line finally reaches them, they will be declared the winners for 2017.
