Wings for Life´s mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury. 100% of every donation goes into spinal cord research. We regularly share updates from our supporters and the spinal cord injury community about all kinds of interesting stories happening outside of our research. Here are some of the things which have caught our eye this month…

Elite BMX rider and two-time world champion Sam Willoughby became spinal cord injured after a fall in September. Here the 25 year old Australian tells his story:

John Roderick became a quadriplegic in 2009. He is now writing a book The Walking Quad and plans to complete a Kickstarter Campaign on his website to publish the book soon.

The Show Dance World Championship took place in Germany this year and was won by the Slovenian dance formation. Here is the video:
