Besides publishing textbook-like reviews in first-tier scientific journals, e.g. by collaborating with highly renowned journals such as Nature Reviews,Wings for Life is also organising cutting-edge international conferences focussed on topics related to spinal cord injury in order to create a platform for information exchange.

In addition, Wings for Life joined the "International Campaign for Cures of Spinal Cord Injury Paralysis" (ICCP) in 2005. The ICCP is a body of affiliated non-profit organisations working to fund research into cures for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury.

The ICCP coalition mission is "to expedite the discovery of cures for Spinal Cord Injury Paralysis". Thereby, Wings for Life was appointed to join a platform which aims to synchronise the efforts of leading organisations worldwide, in order to prevent redundancy.
